Nike launches self-lacing shoes - the HyperAdapt 1.0

After introducing the idea of a self-tying shoe, just like the idea of the movie "Back To The Future" on October 2015, Nike has officially unveiled this futuristic shoes in March 2016. HyperAdapt 1.0 is really a special shoe that you never imagine seeing in the real life.
HyperAdapt 1.0was released in the Nike Innovation Summit event, with a purpose of reducing athlete concern and distraction. This is the first shoes that applied the underfoot-lacing mechanism researched by Nike. It took Nike a few year with deep research in digital, electrical and mechanical engineering, to put everything into this innovative product.

Nike also said this is the new platform for athletic shoes in the future. That also means that someday we can expect, Jordan shoes, Air Max or FlyKnit will also be able adapted this self-lacing technology.
Technical Director of the project, Ms. Tiffany Beers revealed mechanisms of action of this shoe tie itself: "When you step in, your heel will hit a sensor and the system will automatically tighten." He also emphasized that there will be two buttons on the side to tighten and loosen. Users, therefore, can comfortably adjust it until they achieve a perfect fit.
To make sure the successful delivery of this future product, Nike also showed off a new Nike+ app. The app includes a feed of personalized content, navigate customers to find nearby stores and connect with experts and other Nike services.
Until the official release day, you may have to wait a few months as HyperAdapt 1.0 will be sold in summer 2016. It is available with 3 different colors which can be black, grey and white. However, the selling price of this shoe Nike has not yet been revealed.
