Huawei Mate 8 is released with big screen and insane battery life at CES 2016

The Mate 8 integrates all-new Kirin 950 chipset that delivers powerful performance. The chipset is more streamlined more energy efficient and much faster when it comes to everyday tasks such as browsing the web, watching videos, or launching apps. The Mate 8 aims to introduce a whole new dimension to smartphone performance.
Camera Mate 8 is also very impressive with a resolution of 16 MP rear cameras. Additionally, the smart camera features such as Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Huawei's new Image Sensor Processor (ISP), the Mate 8 delivers sharpness and clarity in every image. The camera also supports 1080p full HD video recording.
However, the most interesting feature of the product is probably the battery life and the ability to identify fingerprints. The 4000 mAh battery here is a monster as the Mate 8 lasted an average of 15.6 hours in CNet’s video drain tests. The battery charger also supports fast, and according to Huawei, users need only 30 minutes to charge the battery enough for one day of use.
Huawei already use a fingerprint sensor for their smartphones. But with the Mate 8, the company said its detection capabilities have increased significantly, rising by 10%, making the fingerprint unlock speed much faster than before. Specifically, Huawei claims the Mate 8's fingerprint sensor will unlock your phone in 0.5 seconds.
The Huawei Mate 8 runs on the Huawei's new EMUI 4.0(Emotion UI) on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow together with so many useful apps such as Phone Manager, WPS Office, Themes and Video Player.
Huawei offers their customers various color options
This Mate costs 599 euros (about $653) for the 3GB/32GB variant and 699 euros (about $762) for the 4GB/64GB version, including different colors from champagne gold, silver, gray and brown. In the first period, the product will be sold in 30 countries in Western Europe, UAE, Mexico, and Australia. The US market will not join in this time.
About the design, the Mate 8 is pretty much the same size as an iPhone 6S Plus, but with a noticeably bigger screen. It is therefore not easier to use that screen with one hand.
